Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Medical/Surgical Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, NIH Certification, MOAB Moderate Risk Required Must-Have: Experience in Medical/Surgical or Neurovascular/Renal Units Description: This position is for a Medical/Surgical Nurse in an Intermediate Care setting. The unit comprises 38 beds with a focus on neurovascular and renal patients. No drip titrations are performed in this unit. Lab staff are responsible for collecting blood specimens. Registered Nurses are required to start IVs, with IV team support available as needed. The position does not involve performing EKGs or discontinuing sheaths. Telemetry is used with remote monitoring systems in place. Scrubs are to be worn in a specific color. The role may include floating between multiple facilities.
