Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Corporate Development team, supporting mergers, acquisitions, strategic investments, and partnership opportunities within the renewable energy sector. This position will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities, performing financial analysis, and supporting transactions from initial evaluation through closing and post-acquisition integration. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in working on complex transactions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain financial models used to evaluate renewable energy investments, including project, portfolio, and corporate-level analyses. Analyze acquisition and investment opportunities by assessing valuation, returns, financing structures, and investment risks. Support financial due diligence efforts by reviewing operational, accounting, legal, tax, commercial, and technical information. Prepare investment memos, executive presentations, and materials for senior leadership and investment committees. Conduct market research and develop financial assumptions to support transaction analysis. Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate potential investment outcomes. Assist with transaction negotiations by providing financial insights and evaluating deal structures. Support post-closing activities, including financial model updates, reporting integration, and transition planning. Work closely with internal teams and external advisors throughout all phases of the transaction process. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, project finance, infrastructure investing, private equity, renewable energy finance, or M&A. Strong financial modeling and valuation skills. Experience analyzing complex investments and preparing executive-level presentations. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Interest in renewable energy, infrastructure, or the energy transition is highly preferred. Willingness to travel occasionally as business needs require.
