Physical Therapist

Overview Agape Physical Therapy, with 15 locations across Maryland and Pennsylvania, is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic team in the Arena Club/Churchville location. Located inside the Arena Club Gym and Fitness center, therapists have access to state-of-the-art gym equipment and year-round pools for patient care. Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000-$95,000. Salary is based on factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus program for eligible qualified physical therapist candidates. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits per the plan. Responsibilities Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results Review physician referrals and the patient\'s condition and medical records to determine physical therapy treatment Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers Supervise patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and create a comprehensive program to achieve goals Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers\' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports Qualifications Excellent patient care and communication skills with the ability to multitask while delivering an exceptional clinic experience Passion for physical therapy and patient care Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA-approved curriculum Master\’s degree or equivalent is a plus Previous staff supervisory experience, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic clinic Current Maryland license and CPR certification Exercise and manual-based skills, McKenzie method, and sports rehab Outgoing and energetic personality Ability to market the clinic by networking and visiting physician offices Employment Type & Benefits Full-time or Part-time Competitive compensation 401(k) Multiple opportunities for professional development, specialization, and leadership Employee discount plans Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Investment from a company that supports your success and growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
