Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist

Location: Athens, AL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 36 hours guaranteed with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective patient management skills and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and create treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and function.
• Maintain productivity expectations with an average of 60 visits per week.
• See approximately 12-14 patients per day, with follow-up visits double-booked as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Outpatient experience is preferred.
• Accepting candidates with a PTA or new graduates.
• Must have current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Alabama.
