Job Summary


A reputable food production company in Opelika, Alabama, is seeking a Quality Systems Supervisor to lead food safety and quality systems in a high-volume protein manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of leadership experience in HACCP and food safety, ensuring compliance with USDA/FSIS regulations. This role includes managing pathogen control programs, overseeing sanitation efforts, and driving quality and compliance standards across production.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of leadership experience in HACCP and Food Safety Systems
• 2-4 years of experience in Pathogen Control, specifically in ground beef production
• 2-4 years of USDA / FSIS regulatory compliance experience
• Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment
• Degree in Animal Science, Food Science, or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HACCP programs to ensure food safety compliance
• Oversee pathogen control programs within ground beef production
• Supervise sanitation and environmental monitoring programs
• Support internal and external audits to maintain regulatory compliance
• Mentor and guide team members to promote a culture of quality and safety
