Responsibilities Architect and implement a monitoring and alerting solution for a complex system to provide visualization of expected business outcomes and alerting events of critical mission functions utilizing Prometheus and Grafana. Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements. Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features. Debug existing software and correct defects. Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments. Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories. Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards. Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards. Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components. Write or review software and system documentation. Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, consulting with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage, and work processes; and investigate problem areas. Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve its performance. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces and queries. Required Qualifications TS/SCI clearance with agency appropriate polygraph. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience. Active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 5 years. Experience with Prometheus, Grafana and CloudWatch. Experience with Java, Spring Boot and Lambda functions. Understanding of AWS services including EC2, S3 and event routing. Understanding of software architecture and micro‑service concepts. Hourly pay range: $83.61 – $113.22 per hour. Compensation varies based on factors such as contract rates, education, experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
