About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of supporting adults with disabilities. The successful candidate will be the chief executive and strategic leader, responsible for advancing the organization's mission, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining financial sustainability. This role involves partnering with the Board of Directors to develop and execute a strategic plan, fostering a high-performance, mission-aligned culture, and serving as the primary ambassador for the organization. The Executive Director will also oversee all programs, services, and administrative functions, including financial management, and will be expected to have a strong background in organizational leadership, strategic planning, and execution. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of senior leadership and supervisory experience, preferably within a nonprofit or human services environment. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in organizational leadership, strong business and financial acumen, and experience in fundraising and revenue diversification. While not mandatory, experience working with individuals with disabilities or within disability services is a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering community partnerships, advocating for individuals with disabilities, and ensuring the organization's visibility and reputation are elevated within the community and beyond.
