The Staff Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care services to patients, including oversight, monitoring, preparation, dispensing, and proper documentation of medication therapy. The role also involves providing drug information, advising physicians, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and overseeing dispensing systems. Responsibilities Review and monitor patient medication therapy and orders for safety and efficacy, considering specific patient conditions and health status; advise the patient care team and document interventions. Perform medication profile reviews, checking for duplications, drug–drug and drug‑food interactions, allergies, appropriateness, dosing, and frequency. Prepare, label, and dispense medications in accordance with physician prescriptions and maintain required records.
