Sales Representative

Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is hiring for a results-driven Sales Representative to join our client's team in Binghamton, NY. This position is responsible for driving sales of precision thin steel and laser cut components by building strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and achieving revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target chemical etch companies and battery cell manufacturers across the United States to generate new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and identify potential customers.
• Generate and qualify leads through various channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations, effectively communicating technical product details and value propositions.
• Travel as needed to meet with clients, conduct product demonstrations, and strengthen relationships.
• Represent the company at industry trade shows and events.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Provide regular reporting on sales performance and pipeline activity.
• Work toward and exceed established sales targets to drive revenue growth.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience in phone-based or direct sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Familiarity with precision thin steel, laser cut components, or related industries is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and business development.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage and track sales activities.
• Experience with ERP systems for order processing and customer management is a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 annually, with uncapped commission and on-target earnings of $70,000+ based on performance.
