Opportunity:

CT/Xray Tech

Job Details:

• Work overnight shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• Weekend overnight shifts required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating between units
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Perform both CT and X-Ray imaging procedures
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• At least 1 year of experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
• Required skills include: 3D rendering, abdomen without and/or with contrast, carotid imaging, cervical imaging, chest without and/or with contrast, head without and/or with contrast, lumbar imaging, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, sinuses, soft tissue neck, starting peripheral IVs, thoracic imaging, trauma head, vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), and venipuncture
• PACS experience required
• Scrub color: any color
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility

This is a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 59 total staff beds and 48 patient beds across 2 radiology rooms. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The organization utilizes Epic as its charting system and offers no-cost parking for staff.
