Commercial Loan Support Specialist

Job Title

This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to identify priorities and deadlines and determine work schedule to meet those deadlines. Must be able to multitask effectively and able to task switch quickly and effectively due to multiple items in process at all times. Willingness and flexibility to work with a team. Must possess PC skills at an intermediate level. The ability to make decisions within the set parameters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Included but are not limited to:

• Assist in gathering customer financial information for loan proposal.
• Assist with closing documents/files.
• Provide efficient, friendly service customers and vendors on the phone and/or in person as needed.
• Provide support and assistance to all Commercial Lenders throughout the institution.
• Scanning, typing and clerical work as needed.

Other Functions

Adhere and comply with all Bank Policies. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification/Licensing:

High School Diploma/GED required.

Experience:

Minimum requirement of three years of banking or related experience required. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image.

Other Requirements:

Requires organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task.

PC, printer, calculator, copy machine, fax, scanner, typewriter.

Software Used:

Horizon, Finastra Laser Pro, Word, Excel, PDF, FCM, CLS-ETran, ProSign, Outlook.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to work in front of a computer for extended periods of hours; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. Must be able to travel from location to location throughout the office and to other bank offices, clients, and outside meetings. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

In-person work is required however telework exceptions may be applicable. Regular and prompt attendance is required.
