Step into a vital clinical role in a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures alongside a skilled team. This contract opportunity calls for proficiency as a Cath Lab Technologist, focusing on the care of adult and geriatric patients and ensuring comprehensive support throughout each procedure.

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week
• 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts (7:007:30/8:008:30)
• No weekends required
• On-call coverage as part of responsibilities

Key Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program
• RCIS preferred; BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum two years of experience as a Cardiac Invasive Technologist (preferred), including diagnostic, cardiac, and peripheral interventional procedures
• Must be able to take STEMI on call
• Strong grasp of sterile procedure and infection prevention standards
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, serving as a scrub assistant, case recorder, and cardiac circulator
• Care for patients during procedures and thoroughly prepare them for examinations
• Report clinical changes to nurses or physicians promptly
• Perform related duties such as point-of-care testing in alignment with CLIA guidelines, documenting procedures accurately, and maintaining supplies and cleanliness
• Adhere to all standards of performance, emphasizing teamwork, ownership, and open communication
• Report equipment malfunctions and engage in ongoing quality assurance for the work environment
