Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an Oracle Fusion HCM US Payroll Solution Architect on behalf of our client in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud, with deep expertise in US Payroll implementations, payroll configuration, Fast Formulas, taxation, and union/non-union payroll environments.

This role requires a hands-on Solution Architect who can lead end-to-end implementations, advise stakeholders, and translate complex payroll requirements into effective Oracle Fusion solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion US Payroll solution design and implementation.

• Conduct client workshops, gather business requirements, and define payroll architecture and operating models.

• Configure payroll elements, balances, processing, costing, and complex Payroll Fast Formulas .

• Lead and support CRP, SIT, UAT, parallel payroll, production deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Support Federal, State, and Local payroll taxation, garnishments, wage attachments, FLSA, W-2 processing, and year-end activities.

• Design Payroll Costing and General Ledger integrations and support payroll-to-finance reconciliation.

• Configure and support Core HR, Workforce Structures, Legal Employers, Payroll Statutory Units (PSU), and Tax Reporting Units (TRU) .

• Support integrations with Finance/GL and third-party pension systems.

• Interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and configure union-specific payroll rules, including overtime, shift differentials, premiums, deductions, and contributions.

• Support union and non-union workforces across multi-state payroll environments.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall professional experience.

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud .

• Experience completing at least 3 end-to-end Oracle Fusion US Payroll implementations .

• Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle Fusion US Payroll and Payroll Fast Formulas .

• Strong knowledge of US Federal, State, and Local payroll taxation.

• Experience with payroll costing, GL integration, and reconciliation.

• Knowledge of Core HR, Workforce Structures, Legal Employers, PSU, and TRU.

• Experience with garnishments and wage attachments.

• Strong experience supporting union and non-union payroll processing .

• Experience interpreting and implementing requirements based on Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) .

• Strong client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multiple bargaining units and complex union payroll environments.

• Strong knowledge of W-2 processing, statutory reporting, and year-end payroll activities.

• Experience integrating Oracle Payroll with Finance/GL, pension systems, and other third-party applications.

• Proven ability to independently lead payroll solution design workshops and implementation activities
