Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Recovery Care

SCHEDULE
Nights: 5 shifts of 8 hours from 10:30 PM to 7 AM or 4 shifts of 10 hours from 10 PM to 8:30 AM
No weekends, no holidays except one 8-hour shift on a Saturday per month.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Duration: 16 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS
- Active and Clear RN License
- BLS Certification
- 2 years Medical Surgical Experience
- EPIC experience

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide preoperative care for electively scheduled surgical patients.
- Deliver postoperative nursing care for patients requiring less than a 24-hour stay.
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Educate patients and families on post-surgery care and recovery plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC.
