Community Outreach Coordinator
Titusville, FL | Field-based, full-time
$16–$18/hour | Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Required: Medical Assistant or phlebotomy experience, including venipuncture POSITION OVERVIEW
Connect local residents with healthcare services through community outreach and health screenings. You’ll visit events, health fairs, and local Walgreens clinics to provide screenings, share information about available care, and help interested people become patients.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Provide HIV, STI, and basic health screenings at community locations.
• Perform venipuncture and collect, label, and handle specimens.
• Explain screenings and healthcare services in a respectful, nonjudgmental way.
• Help interested individuals schedule care and keep accurate outreach records.
• Follow HIPAA, infection-control, and patient-safety requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Medical Assistant or phlebotomy experience, including hands-on venipuncture and specimen collection.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfort discussing HIV and STI screening with the public.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work independently in the field.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
•$16–$18/hour
• Medical, dental, and vision benefits after six months.
• 401(k) with a 3% match after six months.
• 104 hours of PTO, accruing at four hours every two weeks.
