This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle, with a fully reusable first stage designed for human spaceflight. You will join a team of specialists in Program Planning & Controls (PP&C) to develop and maintain program plans for spaceflight systems, collaborating with Blue's Program Managers and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Lead and oversee the creation and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and the integration of subordinate schedules to develop a comprehensive data set. Coordinate with technical leadership across Blue to drive resource loading of program plans and analyze and optimize the schedule to achieve required milestones. Perform baseline change control to track performance and conduct critical path and variance analysis for dynamic programs. Lead regular status reviews of the schedule, gather inputs from multiple stakeholders and data sources, and communicate progress inputs, forecast updates, and schedule metrics to program leadership. Conduct "what-if" scenario planning and schedule risk assessments, communicating issues and providing mitigation recommendations to program leadership. Support maturing PP&C by analyzing scheduling procedures, introducing improvements and revised procedures, mentoring and developing other program planners, and driving adoption of scheduling artifacts across the program team. Partner with Program Cost Analysts to maintain integrated cost and schedule plans that facilitate budgeting and cost analysis. Assist in delivering timely, high-quality, transparent program performance data and schedules to support business decisions. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or Engineering 5+ years of experience in program scheduling/planning and controls Experience with integrated master schedules with resource loading using Primavera (P6), MS Project, or similar tools Experience working in ambiguous environments and situations Experience establishing new programs and performing complete overhauls or replans of existing programs Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Robust understanding of scheduling best practices and experience implementing and adapting them across various business environments Proven ability to mentor and develop less experienced planners and program teams Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, AI Language Models) Strong communication skills in technical work environments Desired Expert user of Primavera P6 and MS Project Experience establishing new program schedules Experience in aerospace research and development and manufacturing environments Experience integrating IMS with ERP Customer deliverables on EVM-required contracts Experience supporting programs through DCMA/DCAA audits or similar government reviews Proposal support including translation of estimates into IMSs on award Experience with AI Language Models and creating AI agents MBA or Project Management certification (PMP) Culture Statement We encourage applicants who may not meet every desirable qualification to apply.
