Medical Science Liaison-Bone Health-WA, OR, MT, ID, AK

This field-based Medical Science Liaison role covers bone health in Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, and Alaska. The position involves engaging healthcare leaders and decision-makers to communicate clinical evidence and advance Amgen's scientific platform in bone therapeutics. Responsibilities include supporting payer interactions, educating healthcare providers, responding to medical inquiries, and executing regional engagement strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as field-based medical expert for bone therapeutic area in five-state territory
- Communicate scientific data and clinical information to healthcare stakeholders and opinion leaders
- Support scientific engagement plans and develop local territory research and development tactics
- Provide clinical and pharmacoeconomic support to payers, integrated delivery networks, and formulary committees
- Execute speaker training, congress activities, and investigator-initiated research liaisons
Requirements
- Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 3+ years medical affairs experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years medical affairs experience
- PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO preferred
- Two years industry experience in scientific or medical affairs at biotech or pharmaceutical company
- Managed market, payer, or IDN engagement experience
- Two or more years clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research experience
- Osteoporosis and bone health therapeutic area expertise
