McGrath Ford is looking for a Full-Time Automotive Detailer to join our team in Cedar Rapids! If you have experience in auto detailing, car washing, vehicle reconditioning, or simply take pride in making vehicles look their best, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Wash, dry, and detail vehicle exteriors

Vacuum and thoroughly clean vehicle interiors

Clean windows, dashboards, consoles, upholstery, and other interior surfaces

Clean and dress tires, wheels, and other exterior components

Detail engine compartments as needed

Use automotive detailing products, equipment, and tools safely and effectively

Prepare new and used vehicles for customer delivery and dealership display

Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet dealership quality standards

Maintain a clean and organized detail area

Report vehicle damage, safety concerns, or equipment issues to management

Work efficiently to complete vehicles within expected timeframes

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

Dependable with a strong work ethic

Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team

Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment

Ability to follow established detailing processes and quality standards

Previous automotive detailing, car wash, vehicle reconditioning, or related experience preferred, but not required

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required

Must be at least 18 years old
