Contingent upon award The Logistics Analyst II provides acquisition logistics and sustainment support to Marine Corps Systems Command programs throughout the acquisition lifecycle. The position supports logistics planning, sustainment analysis, readiness assessments, fielding activities, technical documentation development, training development, and property accountability for Acquisition Category (ACAT) and other Marine Corps acquisition programs. The Logistics Analyst II applies knowledge of Department of the Navy (DoN), United States Marine Corps (USMC), and MCSC acquisition logistics processes and the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements to support lifecycle sustainment planning, supply chain management, maintenance readiness, and equipment fielding efforts. The position supports Government logistics leads through analysis, documentation development, systems management, training support, and logistics readiness activities. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Acquisition Logistics Documentation Support Provide continuous logistics support to Government logistics leads through development, review, and updating of acquisition logistics documentation. Support development and maintenance of: Lifecycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs) Fielding Plans Item Unique Identification (IUID) Implementation Plans Corrosion Prevention and Control Plans Facilities Impact Reports (FIRs) Stock List-3 (SL-3) documentation Technical Manuals Supply and equipment instructions Disposal plans Draft, edit, review, and coordinate logistics documentation in accordance with applicable: DoD acquisition policies DoN logistics guidance MCSC acquisition logistics processes Participate in logistics meetings, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), engineering reviews, and sustainment working groups. Collect, analyze, consolidate, and report logistics data supporting acquisition and sustainment activities. Readiness and Sustainment Support Conduct logistics readiness assessments by analyzing supply and maintenance readiness data for supported systems and equipment. Coordinate updates and revisions with Government personnel, engineers, logisticians, and OEM representatives. Ensure documentation complies with applicable military standards and logistics guidance. FRACAS and Reliability Support Monitor and review program Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) activities. Analyze failure and corrective action data to identify reliability and sustainment trends. Develop and deliver quarterly FRACAS reports summarizing: Failure trends Root cause analysis Corrective actions Readiness impacts Support reliability improvement initiatives and sustainment planning efforts. Training Development and New Equipment Training (NET) Support logistics and training leads in development and delivery of New Equipment Training (NET) programs. Develop and maintain Systems Approach to Training (SAT)-compliant instructional materials including: Programs of Instruction (POIs) Lesson Plans Instructor Guides Student Handouts Student Outlines Quick Reference Cards Smart Guides Computer-Based Training (CBT) materials Conduct job and task analyses to support training curriculum development. Support fielding and sustainment training activities for Marine Corps operators and maintainers. Travel to Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) locations and deployment sites to support training and fielding events. Property Accountability and Inventory Support Provide logistics support to Property Custodians (PCs) and Responsible Individuals (RIs) for inventory accountability and reconciliation activities. Support management and reconciliation of: Custodian Asset Reports (CARs) Consolidated Memorandum of Record (CMR) Conduct physical inventory assessments and coordinate onsite inventory verification activities. Analyze inventory discrepancies and support corrective action resolution. Assist with quarterly inventory preparation, execution, and follow-up activities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 4-6 years of experience supporting DoD acquisition logistics or sustainment programs. Demonstrated knowledge of: Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements Acquisition logistics processes Marine Corps sustainment operations Supply chain management Maintenance readiness analysis Experience supporting ACAT or defense acquisition programs. Proficiency with: Microsoft Office Suite SharePoint GCSS-MC Logistics databases and reporting systems Strong analytical, organizational, technical writing, and communication skills.
