Warehouse Manager

Now hiring a Warehouse Manager / CDL Class B Truck Driver in Northbrook! Trillium Drivers has a Temp to Perm opportunity out of Northbrook, IL for a Warehouse Manager/ CDL B driver role. Schedule is Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm. Pay rate is $32 p/h. This has a driving component but is primarily inhouse shipping receiving manager position with a bit of driving as needed. The main responsibilities are coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, organizing tools for our construction sites and supplies, will manage company vehicles, we have 2 trucks and 3 passenger vehicles. The manager will drive as needed. We have another driver in house that is full time on the road. Job duties Responsible for loading, unloading and protecting high value finished woodwork /millwork with and without assistance depending on load requirements. Applicant will make deliveries and pick-ups as assigned. Most deliveries are local. Loading and unloading of trucks from indoor receiving dock. Must be able to accommodate flexible start times and overtime as required for off hours deliveries to constructions sites. Duties when not on deliveries will include but not limited to preparing products for shipment and general clean up as well as basic maintenance and cleaning of company vehicles. Maintain jobsite tools list and safety protocols Manage vehicle maintenance Requirements Must possess CDL B license. Clean driving record. 3 - 5 years experience. Forklift experience. Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a continuous basis. Ability to read shipping lists and engineering drawings.
