Nursing Supervisor (RN) - Skilled Nursing & Long Term CareElderwood at Waverly is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Supervisor (RN) to help lead clinical operations and support our nursing teams within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. The nursing team supports complex clinical needs that may include IV therapy, PICC-line management, wound vacs, complex wound care, ostomy care, enteral feeding, and dialysis coordination.For nurses who enjoy med-surg-style clinical variety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the opportunity to strengthen their assessment and technical skills, this is a setting where you can continue developing clinically while helping patients make measurable progress toward recovery.As an RN Supervisor, you will provide visible clinical leadership and help coordinate nursing operations during your assigned shift - but you will not be expected to lead alone.You will work closely with the Director of Nursing and ADON, with additional clinical resources available through Elderwood Administrative Services. Whether you want to deepen your bedside practice or begin working toward a leadership role, you can build a meaningful nursing career here.If you are ready to take the next step in your nursing leadership career, apply today.ResponsibilitiesWhat You will Do As a Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor:Clinical LeadershipSupervise nursing care services and nursing personnel across assigned unitsConduct rounds and provide clinical support and guidance to staffMonitor resident conditions and ensure timely communication of changesAssist with admissions, evaluations, care planning, and resident oversightSupport safe medication administration and treatment deliveryStaff Support & OperationsAssist with staffing coordination and assignment adjustmentsProvide coaching, feedback, and support to nursing staffEnsure documentation, workflows, and assignments are completed appropriatelyParticipate in shift-to-shift communication and operational updatesPromote a collaborative, respectful, team-focused environmentQuality & ComplianceHelp maintain compliance with facility policies, CMS standards, and nursing regulationsSupport infection prevention and facility safety initiativesAssist with incident response, emergency procedures, and survey readinessParticipate in QAPI and performance improvement effortsQualificationsWhat you Will Need as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor:Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical NurseMinimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership roleInterest or experience in geriatricsCurrent BLS/CPRExperience with dementia population desirableThis position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
