Situation : Physician Services is a 150+ provider, two multi-specialty group affiliated with the not-for-profit Health System, the largest medical provider serving a 300,000 population region composed of West Central Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa. The System operates sa premier Hospital, a 307-bed regional referral center in West Central, Illinois, (population 45,000) We are a level II trauma center; however we see minimal true trauma cases. Sub-specialty support is available in virtually every field, and the Hospital, connected by air-bridge to the physician office building, offers a full array of diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Lab, x-ray, MRI, and extremity CT are present in the clinic building s diagnostic center. A Hospitalist program is available. Board Certification is an expectation of all of our physicians. Base salary equals the MGMA median, and all physicians are eligible for a productivity incentive bonus plan based on work production as measured by WRVU s.
