Manufacturing Engineering ManagerA client of Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team of manufacturing engineers, engineering technicians, and interns while driving manufacturing excellence across a growing production facility. This role will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, leading Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives, improving material and production flow, supporting facility expansion efforts, and developing a high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, strong Lean Manufacturing expertise, and a track record of driving operational improvements through process optimization and team development.Required Skills & Experience* 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.Previous people leadership experience leading engineers, technicians, or technical teams.Strong Lean Manufacturing experience, including Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, standardized work, waste elimination, line balancing, and operational excellence.Strong ability to explain Lean metrics, including takt time, cycle time, throughput, and line balancing.Strong understanding of manufacturing flow, material movement, equipment coordination, throughput optimization, and end-to-end production systems.Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, production processes, and equipment coordination.Experience driving process improvements through data, metrics, and root cause analysis.Strong project management and manufacturing principles background.Ability to work with OEMs to resolve equipment and process-related issues.Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred.Nice to Have Skills & Experience* Sheet metal fabrication experience.Experience with laser cutting, press brakes, and punch presses.Experience supporting facility expansions, plant redesigns, or manufacturing footprint growth.Experience with new product introductions (NPI).
