Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,428–$1,486 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Start date: 06/15/2026 Work setting: hospital travel assignment Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms, patients, and equipment for surgical procedures; maintain sterile technique and proper instrument counts Assist surgeons and other team members during procedures as part of the surgical team Chart and communicate patient status, position patients safely, and assist with draping and gowning as needed Manage instrument sets, sponge/needle counts, and safe handling of implants and devices Respond to intraoperative needs and urgent requests within approximately 30 minutes Float between two nearby sites as required to support coverage and workflow Requirements 2+ years CST (certified surgical technologist) experience required NBSTSA certification required BLS certification required Ortho, OB‑GYN, and General procedure experience preferred Ability to work in a hospital OR environment and support a fast‑paced surgical team Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated on‑assignment support Credentialing and onboarding assistance as needed Access to additional travel opportunities with the same organization Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
