Hourly Pay Rate: $226.98


Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team for a 3-month assignment starting on September 1, 2026. This position requires coverage for approximately 10-13 shifts per month, with evening and night shifts scheduled as follows:

• September: 3 p.m. – 12 a.m. & 10 p.m. – 7 a.m.
• October to December: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.

The practice setting is a Critical Access Hospital with 14% pediatric volume and limited onsite specialty support. Experience in community settings, especially rural or critical access environments, is highly preferred. The physician will see approximately 2.5 to 3 patients per hour, managing a total average daily census of 20-24 patients. The facility has 25 beds and uses Epic EMR/charting software.


Requirements:

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (no Internal Medicine or Family Practice)
• MA State Medical License
• ACLS Certification
• DEA Certification for MA (must be current)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience

Additional Information:

• Credentialing: 3 to 4 months
• Preferably drive-in location; hospital provides housing and ferry reimbursement
• Shifts are 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
