Join our dynamic Distribution Operations Center Technical Support Mapping Team as a Designer Associate. In this critical role, you ll ensure the accurate mapping of electric distribution systems, support process improvement projects, and provide technical and project management expertise. [Responsibilities]

- Conduct detailed mapping of electric distribution systems in compliance with company standards and policies
- Inspect AEGIS-OMS data for quality, ensuring accurate integration of modifications and expansion projects
- Post and update AEGIS data to maintain consistent and reliable system records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver on project and customer expectations
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of design, operation, and facility mapping
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on reliability, accuracy, and timely delivery
- Perform regular data quality assessments and promptly implement corrective actions
- Provide training to team members on mapping tools and best practices in data management
- Support storm restoration efforts as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development and technical training

[Required Skills and Experience]

- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in project management, design, or construction
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Proficient in electric system mapping, data quality assessment, and technical documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams

[Preferred Skills]

- Associate or Bachelor s degree in a technical field highly encouraged
- Experience with AEGIS-OMS or similar mapping/data management tools
- Background in utility operations or electric facility mapping
- Demonstrated training and mentorship capabilities
