Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiation Therapy or related allied health field
  
• Active ARRT (T) certification required (ARRT Therapeutic Radiography)
  
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred (radiation oncology experience a plus)
  
• EPIC EMR experience required (minimum 1 year) — strong documentation skills in EPIC
  
• Familiarity with ARIA, Varian TrueBeam, Eclipse (Varian) and CT Simulation preferred
  
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
  
• Ability to float to other qualified units as needed and perform tasks within demonstrated competencies
  

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately as prescribed by radiation oncologists
  
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including TrueBeam and CT simulators (Varian systems)
  
• Perform patient assessments, positioning and education for radiation therapy patients and families
  
• Document treatments, patient responses, and plan changes accurately in EPIC EMR
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in radiation oncology, including physicians, dosimetrists, nurses and social services
  
• Follow radiation safety protocols and QA procedures to ensure compliance and patient safety
  
• Float to other hospital units as required, providing competent clinical support within scope
