Candidate Liaison & Credentialing Coordinator

Department:   Operations/Recruiting Support
Reports To: Branch Manager & Scheduling Coordinator

Position Summary

The Candidate Liaison & Credentialing Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the onboarding process while managing credentialing, compliance, and front office operations. This role ensures employees are fully credentialed and compliant before beginning assignments, remain compliant throughout employment, and receive an exceptional onboarding experience. The position also provides administrative and office support to ensure the efficient operation of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Onboarding & Experience

• Guide candidates from offer acceptance through assignment start.
• Coordinate onboarding, payroll setup, and employment documentation.
• Manage onboarding platforms
• Maintain regular communication to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  

Credentialing & Compliance

• Verify licenses, certifications, education, employment history, and references.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screens, I-9/E-Verify, and client-specific requirements.
• Monitor credential expirations and schedule required renewals and training.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure ongoing compliance throughout assignments.
  

Staffing & Operational Support

• Review submission packets for completeness and client compliance.
• Create, update, and maintain employee and assignment records in Bullhorn.
• Support payroll accuracy by maintaining complete employee documentation.
• Assist with contract administration and compliance for VMS/MSP and direct clients.
  

Front Office & Administrative Support

• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, candidates, clients, and vendors.
• Answer and direct incoming calls while providing outstanding customer service.
• Maintain a professional reception area and office environment.
• Coordinate office supplies, employee badges, electronic personnel files, and administrative projects.
• Assist leadership with process improvements and documentation standardization.
  

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and initiative.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning multiple software platforms.
  

Preferred Experience

• Staffing, recruiting support, HR, healthcare administration, credentialing, or compliance.
• Knowledge of I-9, E-Verify, employment documentation, and compliance processes.
