The EDD is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to serve as an IT Supervisor II in the Enterprise Testing Office (ETO) within the Information Technology Branch (ITB) of EDD. This position reports to the Enterprise Testing Office Section IT Manager I and is responsible for directing the activities of a testing unit within the Enterprise Testing Office. The ETO plays an integral role in supporting and enhancing EDD’s automated systems. The office provides a range of testing services that include, but are not limited to, functional testing, system testing, support for user acceptance testing, and automation testing. ETO also maintains complex test environments and manages critical testing support functions such as data mining and data encryption. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines. The ideal candidate can lead and support testing teams, coordinate effectively with project and technical partners, and apply sound judgment in a fast-moving environment. The candidate should be able to guide staff, promote consistent testing practices, and contribute to a collaborative, solutions-focused team culture. This position is eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change as business needs arise.
