Qualifications: Be at least eighteen (18) years of age; Current NREMT Paramedic certification Current WV Paramedic certification, or the ability to obtain within 60 days; Current CPR certification; Completion of an approved Hazardous Material Awareness course Completion of an approved Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC) Valid Drivers License Firefighter I certification (WV, ProBoard, or another acceptable equivalent)* Firefighter II certification OR Vehicle & Machinery Rescue Operations* **Applicants without fire training will be considered, provided they are willing and able to obtain the required training within 1 year of hire.
