Job Description

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Lobby in Cherry Hill, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will greet visitors, monitor access activity, support security-related communications, and respond to front desk needs with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, visitor processing, badge access support, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

• Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor and contractor arrivals, maintain required logs and records, and communicate access-related information to authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site post orders and reporting procedures.
• Support a professional front desk presence within a highly regulated aerospace and defense location by answering questions, directing guests, and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening and documentation practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
