MRI Technologist

Location: Oregon

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 hours (06:00 - 18:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art MRI equipment and performing a range of MRI procedures. Candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills and maintain a professional demeanor while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment and ensure high-quality imaging.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
• Maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions.
• Assist in preparing patients for MRI procedures.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and functioning properly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must be registered with ARRT in MRI or AMRIT.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (RT), RDMS, or CNMT preferred.
• Current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license as a licensed practitioner of MRI (temporary license acceptable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
