Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel A great Outpatient facility is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA to join their growing team for a contract assignment! This is a contract assignment. Shift: Monday - Thursday 2 shifts 7 AM - 3 PM, 2 shifts Noon - 8 PM and Fridays 10 AM - 6 PM This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance. Requirements include: Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school. Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA. Current CPR certification. Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT. Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT . Effectively collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.
