Maintenance Director - Skilled Nursing Home

The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Maintenance Director with strong NFPA knowledge and life safety experience in a healthcare setting. This leader will drive survey readiness, oversee preventative maintenance and facility systems, and uphold life safety and CMS standards across the building and grounds.

What You Will Do

• Support survey readiness and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

• Oversee and perform routine maintenance of facility mechanical systems

• Develop a preventative maintenance practice and maintain all aspects of the building and site in excellent repair and working order

• Prioritize and complete work orders in TELS

• Maintain life safety compliance per CMS regulations

• Manage maintenance staff

• Duties as assigned

What You Must Have

• NFPA knowledge and experience is a must

• Proven experience in healthcare facility maintenance, in a senior living, or hospitality setting

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance

• Availability to respond to emergency maintenance needs as required

• Experience managing vendors and maintenance budgets is a plus
