Description:
Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.This department only includes education and non-productive hours of Float Pool nurses. Float Pool nurses working a unit should always clock in to the unit being worked.

Unit Description
Minimum 2 years of experience required. COVID Vaccine - Required. BLS - AHA Required. Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans. Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments. Educates patients on surgical procedures. Records patients' medical information and vital signs.
