IT Integration Manager & Application Adminstrator

Job Summary:

The IT Integration Manager & Application Administration role is responsible for planning and coordinating the processes and activities related to the development, delivery and integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the businesses requirements. This individual will apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the business working with IT stakeholders and PMO on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems. As an Application Administrator, this person is responsible to manage administrative tasks related to system(s) in production and provide necessary support for the day-to-day business operations.

Essential Functions:

• (25%) IT Application Change and Release Management:
  Establishes standards of practice and ensures compliance with application change management frameworks to enable efficient delivery of production and project related changes across core applications. Maintains inventory of enterprise applications and interfaces. Coordinates with the business and IT teams to ensure effective release management and deployments to production. Liaise with software suppliers and internal stakeholders to address issues in program logic and the interoperability of new applications with existing systems software.
• (25%) IT Application Administration:
  Monitors and manages jobs and batches, performs system deployments; monitors and maintains application servers, manages user access and rights; maintains annual licenses, implements application upgrades, performs server patching and testing of the application. Provides support to end users and collaborates with the service delivery team as needed.
• (25%) Environment and Integration Management:
  Documents and coordinates production and project environment availability and stability between Applications and Infrastructure teams (both locally and globally). Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new applications into existing systems and software throughout the enterprise.
• (20%) Enterprise Project Support:
  Collects requirements and project needs from the PMO and coordinates with IT staff to develop implementation plans, activities and align work and timelines with other production activities. Collaborate with analysts, architects, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications. 
• (5%) IT Tactical and Capacity Planning:
  Maintains resource allocation / capacity plan across IT service staff. Facilitates estimations of capacity needs for both production and project related work. Escalates and recommends external sourcing and backfill needs and budgets to mitigate capacity limitations or constraints.

Essential knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent theoretical knowledge and experience
• Any project management certification
• 5+ years of demonstrated IT project management experience
• Familiar with change and release management process(s)
• Experience managing SDLC processes
• Expert in using Microsoft tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
• Demonstrated knowledge of collaboration tools, project management tools and diagramming tools
• Understanding of cloud technologies
• Knowledge on system architecture and infrastructure
• Professional written and verbal communication skills to build consensus within the Global IT organization
• Ability to maintain a positive and respectful attitude and work well with other people

Desired knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Service Now operational experience
• Experience working with cloud technologies – 3 years
• Experience and / or knowledge of database technologies
• Experience working in Financial, Insurance and / or Reinsurance industry

Travel:

• 10% - domestic travel with overnight stays

Total Compensation (Inclusive of Base + Bonus):

• $84,500 - $114,300
