If recommended, an offer can be extended. Must have hospital experience. Drivers License required at time of submission. Unit size varies, ranging from 17 to 41 beds. Patient ratios for CNAs is 1:8-10. Common duties include vital signs, feeding, ambulation, turning/positioning, and hourly rounding. Sitter utilization is prioritized. CNA duties may vary based on the floor assignment. No catheter or IV insertion or removal required. A Charge Nurse is present on each shift without an assignment. House Supervisor is available 24/7. Each shift requires working every other weekend. Holidays will be filled based on the need. Primary hospital assignment is preferred, with possible floating to other facilities if needed. Scrub color is flexible, but professional appearance is required. Orientation includes training on the charting system. Candidates should be flexible and maintain a positive attitude, especially during the initial period.
