Key Responsibilities Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures. Execute pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases. Provide information consultation duties such as supporting new and refill prescriptions, patient requests, physician requests, monitoring drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions. Engage in quality improvement duties: drug storage inspection, review of expired supplies, and production of error and workload reports. Handle supply process duties: placing new orders, stocking, and restocking. Your Qualifications State license or certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Completion of a formal pharmacy technician program or a formal medical services training program of the United States Military. Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience. Maintain BLS certification (American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Course C or American Red Cross CPR/BLS Course).
