About the Position

Job Title: Medical Surgical - Neuro RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neurovascular Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in neurovascular or medical-surgical acute care preferred License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Proficient neuro skills, all skills need to be rated 3s or 4s NIHSS certification 1 year of recent experience with neuro patients Description: First-time travelers are welcome to apply. This position may require floating between units. On-call duties are required. Availability is required if shifts are canceled. Every other weekend is required. Block scheduling is not required. The expected patient care ratio is 1:4. Proficient neuro skills are a hard requirement. All skills should be rated 3s or 4s. Travelers may need to float to other units based on their skill sets. Travelers must have reliable transportation for this assignment. Travelers might receive additional compensation for floating assignments. Client details: Type of facility is short-term acute care. Total staff beds available are 536. Charting system used is Epic. No parking fees are associated with this facility. Candidates are required to have references covering the last year of work experience. Candidates may be expected to float within affiliated facilities nearby. Refusal to float may result in the termination of the assignment. Responses to previous work history in specific facilities are required with submission.
