The shift is three 12-hour shifts, rotating, based on patient care and operational needs from 7:30pm-7am, at Methodist Hospital. New hire bonus available for those who qualify!/ppPrepares and provides neurophysiological testing and monitoring in the clinical, Neurotelemetry/EMU and intraoperative settings according to departmental guidelines. Demonstrates proficiency in ICU, epilepsy and seizure, neonatal and other complicated neurophysiological patterns. Works with little to no supervision when recording and monitoring patient data. Reports findings and triages patient care needs when necessary. Maintains high quality recordings and skilled in troubleshooting techniques. Facilitates and collaborates with the continued growth of less experienced team members, shares knowledge, and precepts peers./pulliAssociates degree or equivalent years of experience is required./liliRequires 3-5 years of relevant experience./liliGraduate from a CAAHEP accredited neurodiagnostic program is preferred./liliRequires registry in CLTM./liliRequires current BLS certification./liliRequires ability to meet all requirements of competencies in which registries are held./liliRequires manual dexterity, visual acuity and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions in order to properly and effectively administer neurophysiological monitoring and testing./liliRequires the ability to recognize neurological compromising conditions and communicate those conditions to assure appropriate actions are taken./li/ulpWe are an equal opportunity employer.
