Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological impact of medical conditions on patients.

• Develop and implement tailored integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical needs, ensuring comprehensive care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Work closely with medical providers to coordinate care and ensure optimal treatment pathways for patients, from initial assessments to follow-ups.

• Provide emergency intervention and crisis support to patients experiencing acute mental health crises.

• Educate patients on the connection between their mental health and physical well-being, fostering empowerment in managing their conditions.

• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and collaborative treatment planning.

• Consistently review and stay current with research, as well as best practices in integrated care methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license to practice as an LCSW, LCPC, LCP, LSCSW, or LMFT within the state of Kansas.

• Demonstrated proficiency in addressing mental health needs related to co-occurring medical conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
