Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact in students’ lives as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic educational environment near Waukegan, IL. This full-time, in-person contract position runs from August 17, 2026 through May 27, 2027 and offers the chance to support and empower young learners in their communication development. Working approximately 33.25 hours each week, you'll collaborate with teachers and other professionals to deliver key speech-language services that help students reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP licensure in Illinois, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience working in a school setting highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and school documentation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
• Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to address student needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation as required by school policies
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development
