Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Sell new and used heavy equipment within an assigned sales territory.

• Develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, and lead follow-up.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, municipalities, and customers.

• Prepare equipment quotations and sales proposals.

• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through closing.

• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer records.

• Follow up on inbound leads and customer inquiries.

• Promote attachments and related equipment products.

• Maintain product knowledge across multiple equipment lines.

• Collaborate with parts and service departments to support customers.

• Meet or exceed territory sales goals.

• Represent the company professionally within the assigned territory.

• Monitor market activity and identify new sales opportunities.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Prior sales experience required.

• Heavy equipment, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or related industry sales experience preferred.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Experience selling to contractors, municipalities, or commercial customers preferred.

• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.

• Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

• Ability to manage a large geographic sales territory.

• Valid driver's license preferred.
