Endpoint Engineering Manager Job Category: Information Technology | Time Type: Full Time | Minimum Clearance: None | Employee Type: Regular | Travel: Up to 10% Local Overview CACI is seeking an Endpoint Engineering Manager to support day‑to‑day operations including scheduling, hiring, performance monitoring, and continual service improvement of endpoint services. The manager will oversee a team of endpoint engineers supporting workstations and virtual desktop environments for the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a part of the Department of Homeland Security. The role involves setting expectations, mentoring the team, identifying skill gaps, and leading training and performance improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Establish and document policies, practices, and procedures for supported applications and services. Provide ongoing guidance on system usage and training. Participate in new application and service evaluations. Collaborate with Engineering, End User Support, and PMO teams to prioritize and plan project activities. Prepare comprehensive proposals and plans to ensure successful project completion. Coordinate and manage the design, construction, deployment, and maintenance of personal computer operating system images, virtual desktops, and other application delivery platforms. Evaluate, select, and effectively use deployment tools and systems. Coordinate with IT groups to ensure deployed systems meet user and client needs. Act as an analyst/consultant to provide systems and applications integration advice. Assist in design and development of documentation and training materials for deployment systems. Manage and participate in design and implementation of software deployment packages and scripts for new and updated software. Ensure control and coordination of workstation release management. Ensure periodic audit of workstations for software licensing compliance. Qualifications Ability to attain DHS EOD. ITIL V4 Foundations certification. BA + 10 years experience, MA + 7 years, AA + 14 years, or 18 years experience (educational/experience equivalency). 5+ years in a technical people‑management role. 8+ years of hands‑on enterprise IT support experience. Experience managing engineers of varying skill levels and supporting end users remotely. Ability to provide rapid responses to executive support requests and triage ongoing tickets. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems. Familiarity with Mobile Device Management applications such as MS Intune or Ivanti Mobile Iron. Familiarity with Microsoft M365 and Office 365 stack. Familiarity with standard Microsoft deployment tools such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Office Customization Tool, or alternate third‑party tools. Competency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript). Effective communication skills at all levels. What You Can Expect A culture of integrity. Pay Range There are a host of factors that can influence final salary, but the proposed salary range for this position is $113,200 - $237,800 .
