About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum – Texas**Start Date:** February 15, 2027**Location:** Sweetwater, Texas**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 13-week assignment**Highlights:**- 9-bed LDRP unit with dedicated OR suite and PACU on-site, plus 3-bed nursery- Combined unit model requiring labor, delivery, and postpartum care skills for mother and baby- Average of 35 deliveries per month with approximately 100 outpatient and OB ED visits monthly- Collaborative care team including OB/GYN physicians, family medicine providers, residents, and certified nurse midwife- EMR system: TruBridge- OR scrubs provided**Requirements:**- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state eligibility)- Labor and delivery experience required, with ability to provide combined LDRP care- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications- C-section circulator experience preferred but not required**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This role offers the chance to provide comprehensive, family-centered care in a collaborative environment where you'll support mothers and newborns through the entire birthing process and beyond.
