Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain certification)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, especially in low-incidence classrooms
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet a wide variety of student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
• Passion for fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver classroom instruction aligned with IEP goals for students receiving special education services
• Implement evidence-based strategies and accommodations to facilitate access to learning
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student growth and support needs
