Job Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Fiscal Assistant to support administrative and fiscal operations at their Trenton, NJ office. This is a fully onsite role with a 35-hour work week. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with data entry, document management, and assisting with regulatory submissions.
Key Responsibilities

Process incoming mail, date-stamp official documents, and distribute mail within the RFS staging area
Review and process RFS submittals and assist with Annual Surcharge bills
Perform NJEMS data entry in Activity Tracking, Financial Window, Attachments, and Remarks per SOPs
Track progress of assignments using Microsoft Teams
File documents upon completion of assignments
Assist full-time staff with related projects or reviews as needed

Required Skills

Data entry proficiency
Experience with Microsoft Teams
Ability to manage and organize documents and spreadsheets
Strong attention to detail
Familiarity with mail processing and document distribution workflows

Preferred Skills

Experience with NJEMS or similar environmental/regulatory data systems
Prior experience in a government or regulatory environment

Location & Work Model

Fully onsite at 401 E State St, Trenton, NJ 08625. Business casual dress code. 35 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
