Salary: $125,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We need strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft cloud and Windows environments.
• We require practical experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure administration, identity and access management, and Windows systems.
• Experience supporting or overseeing Azure Virtual Desktop, virtualization, or enterprise remote desktop environments is needed.
• Solid knowledge of networking, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, endpoint security, backup, and disaster recovery is required.
• Experience leading technical staff, coordinating vendors, and managing business-critical IT services is expected.
• You must be able to explain technical issues and recommendations clearly to non-technical leadership.
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills are required.
• Preferred experience includes healthcare, home health, or another regulated environment.
• Preferred experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender, Conditional Access, Windows Autopatch/Update for Business, and modern endpoint management.
• Preferred experience with HIPAA-related technical safeguards, security reviews, incident response, and vendor access management.
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-140, AZ-700, SC-300, or similar current cloud/security credentials are preferred.
• Preferred experience managing a transition from vendor-led IT operations to a stronger internal IT operating model.

• We will rely on you to lead and strengthen our internal IT operations as the senior technical owner.
• You will provide internal oversight for Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• You will manage administrative access, role assignments, MFA, emergency access, and least-privilege controls.
• You will oversee Azure subscriptions, resource access, monitoring, cost visibility, and technical documentation.
• You will ensure AVD workspaces, host pools, session hosts, user access, images, patching, and support processes are properly managed.
• You will help us determine where AVD is still needed and where modern cloud-managed endpoints may be a better long-term option.
• You will oversee office connectivity, on-premises firewalls, VPNs, switching, Wi-Fi, DNS, and related network services.
• You will work with the System Administrator and support staff to maintain reliable Windows devices, printers, servers, and business systems.
• You will establish and maintain endpoint standards using Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, BitLocker, Defender, patching, and device compliance where adopted.
• You will coordinate troubleshooting for major outages and ensure clear escalation procedures are in place.
• You will work with our leadership, compliance/GRC staff, and technical teams to translate security and HIPAA requirements into practical technical controls.
• You will review privileged access, security alerts, audit logs, MFA, vendor access, and incident-response procedures.
• You will ensure backup coverage is clearly documented and that backup failures are monitored and resolved.
• You will make sure restore testing and disaster-recovery testing are completed and documented on a regular schedule.
• You will maintain clear recovery procedures for critical systems and services.
• You will lead and support our internal IT staff, including the System Administrator and other technical or support roles.
• You will define responsibilities, priorities, escalation paths, documentation standards, and operating procedures for the IT team.
• You will manage technical relationships with MSPs, cloud providers, security vendors, internet providers, software vendors, and other third parties.
• You will review vendor work, access, deliverables, support performance, renewals, and technical dependencies.
• You will ensure we retain ownership of our accounts, documentation, configurations, data, backups, and administrative access.
• You will prepare a practical IT roadmap covering cloud, endpoints, security, network, backup, licensing, and lifecycle planning.
• You will monitor technology costs and work with leadership on budgets, licensing, renewals, and investment priorities.
• You will provide clear updates to leadership on IT performance, risks, incidents, major projects, costs, and unresolved issues.
• You will coordinate technology projects with department leaders while minimizing disruption to employees and business operations.
• You will maintain accurate inventories, diagrams, procedures, support contacts, and change records.

Serenity Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to strengthen our internal IT operations and serve as the senior technical owner for our Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, networking, endpoints, backups, cybersecurity controls, and technology vendors.
