Registered Nurse – Critical CareTypically 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio, may be adjusted to 1:3. Weekends are generally every other weekend.Assignment DetailsUnit size: 24 rooms/24 beds; average daily census ~19. Patients include adults and geriatrics with complex/critical diagnoses. Orientation is 12 hours with additional non-billable hours based on contract length.RequirementsMinimum 2 years RN experience required; 1st-time travelers accepted.GA or Compact RN licensure required at time of submission.BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to start.Comfortable with ventilated patients, central lines, dysrhythmia management, CRRT/CVVHD, high-flow oxygen/HFNC, and post-op care.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care to critically ill patients requiring complex interventions.Monitor and interpret vital signs and patient conditions.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Educate patients and families on health conditions and plans of care.Compliance / NotesFull compliance required to start on time; onboarding documents due prior to the start date. Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed, no RTO during orientation week.
