Quality Control Inspector

Quality InspectorAs a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for performing incoming, in?process, and final inspections on components and assemblies. You will verify conformance using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and microscopes. Your role will involve reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data packages, as well as documenting nonconformances and supporting root?cause investigations.ResponsibilitiesConduct daily visual inspections and maintain accurate records.Process materials and documents in accordance with Mil-Spec, SOW, or SCD.Manage incoming and outgoing materials between vendors and customers.Handle inventory transactions efficiently.Support Program Managers through QA/QC system operation.Apply the latest QA/QC standards in operations.Generate repair orders for outside services such as DPA, X-Ray, and Re-life.Review manufacturer data and test reports.Document issues and provide feedback or report issues to suppliers.Essential SkillsStrong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection methodologies.Proficiency with measurement tools and inspection equipment.Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems.Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.Experience with microscope inspection and handling small electronic devices.Good dexterity and attention to detail.Experience practicing ESD controls.Additional Skills & QualificationsQuality assurance and quality control expertise.Skills in using calipers, micrometers, oscilloscopes, and microscopes.Why Work Here?This role offers a contract-to-hire opportunity, allowing for long-term career growth and stability.
